SOUTHLAKE, TX, August 10, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Saber Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), a leading provider of software and technology powering the global travel industry, today announced that Avianca’s New Distribution Capability (NDC) content Group is now available to travel agencies, travel buyers, and developer partners in multiple countries.
Avianca Group – which includes Avianca Airlines as well as Avianca Costa Rica, Avianca Ecuador and TACA International Airlines – is the first Latin American carrier to distribute its NDC offerings through the Saber market. The Colombia-a New York-based airline group plans to roll out its NDC content in two initial waves: the first began on 1st of August; the second is intended for August 15th and is expected to include more than 50 countries around the world, including Australia, Ecuador, Canada, Costa Rica, France, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.

Saber-connected agencies and developer partners can now purchase, reserve, and service NDC offers and other content using Saber’s offer and order APIs, Saber Red 360 agency as well as GetThere’s corporate online booking tool – all in a familiar booking environment. The deployment of NDC offers follows a pilot phase with travel agencies Brazil, El Salvadorand United States.
