Northwestern Mutual Financial Representative – STAGE. Representatives help clients achieve and maintain financial security by providing financial advice and matching solutions to clients’ needs and goals. Develop relationships with clients and foster long-term relationships. – Know Northwestern Mutual’s financial products and financial market trends. Build and maintain client bases, maintain current client financial plans and build a portfolio of new clients on an ongoing basis. Offer dedicated and targeted customer experiences.

Full-time / part-time teaching assistant. Assistant teachers assist principal and associate teachers in all aspects of classroom responsibilities. The primary responsibilities are care and activities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The Adventure Center schedules around student school hours for assistants who are at the university. The center participates in the TEACH program for students in early childhood / child development programs. 90% of tuition and books are covered as well as paid leave for courses or study time.

3rd shift production assembler. Places parts in a specified relationship to each other. Places various metal tubes in machines that bend, crease, puncture, wedge or weld. Works at different workstations according to production needs. Works in cells where tasks vary as different models of similar items are moved during production. Can service machines, such as CNC, robots, benders, fin press, welders, burst test chamber, mass spectrometer, furnace and others according to trained skills. May perform minor preventive maintenance tasks as required and assigned tasks.

Zingerman Mail Order Seasonal Customer Service Center Vacation Crew. Holidays at Zingerman’s Mail Order are crazy, but fun. We are going from a crew of 150 to a swarm of almost 500. People come to work here from all walks of life. Moms, dads, students, retirees, landscapers, dancers. Some people are in between jobs. Some people, this is their first job. Some people come because they want to work with us for the long term. Some, it’s just a little job for extra vacation money. Any reason is fine with us. Almost everyone who works here has now started being part of a vacation crew at one point or another. We would love to have you join us.

Journeyman HVAC operation and maintenance mechanic (union). Operating at a journeyman level, performs a variety of complex services in specialized areas of construction systems such as mechanics, electrical, HVAC and refrigeration, including maintenance, repair and operation.

State Police Road Transport Officer. Make a difference in the lives of millions of Michigan motorists with a career as a trucking officer. Motor carrier officers are members of the Commercial Vehicle Law Enforcement Division of the Michigan State Police. They specialize in commercial vehicles and duties include law enforcement, accident investigation, driver and vehicle inspections, criminal interdiction, transportation of hazardous materials, regulatory compliance, operations weighing stations, infrastructure protection, as well as general emergency response. The patrol of road transport agents is self-directed and encourages proactive and independent decision-making.

Technology specialist. The Chelsea District Library (CDL) is looking for an energetic, organized and engaging individual to join us as a Tech Specialist. This person understands the need and value of public libraries and their ability to transform lives in ways big and small.

Barista. Dozer is a new coffeehouse and roaster in Ann Arbor, Michigan that serves specialty coffees in a “come-one-come-all” space. Our store is located on the future HOMES campus, which includes a beer garden, retail store, production facility and event space. Our baristas will be the face of our business, building lasting relationships with our customers while honing their coffee skills, helping with menu development and helping Dozer reach his full potential.

Medical assistant. Our medical assistants are matched with a physician who sees between 8 and 12 patients per day within a 30 mile radius of the Ann Arbor office. Typical tasks include obtaining vital signs, reconciliation of medications, immunization, performing ECGs, and obtaining blood tests.

Entry-level software developer. We are looking for someone to develop and maintain custom software that our company uses internally and in the products we sell. The developer will also be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Gcode programs for some of our manufacturing departments. Over time, the software developer would learn to configure and program the CNC control systems made by Fanuc and Siemens, used in the machines we make.

Ice cream waiter and barista. Get ready for a fun job at a local ice cream parlor and cafe! Our customers love us and so do you! We are looking for energetic, fun, reliable and sympathetic people who can work evenings and weekends and who are available immediately. Duties include: Prepare and serve our guests with a smile on Michigan-made ice cream and candy; Effectively operate the point of sale system, including cash and credit transactions, Make and decorate ice cream cakes, waffle cones, shakes, sundaes and cones. General cleaning and preparation tasks.
