Early on Saturday, this foursome fought their way up to sixth place.
Sophomore Willie Conley narrowly missed out on one of those top eight medal-winning finishes, finishing ninth in Thursday’s 400 meters. He followed that up with a 16th place finish in the high jump on Friday morning.
On Saturday, Conley anchored the medley sprint relay which also included senior Parker Struve, second Cole Tjossem and junior Hudson Oolman. This unit ranked 17th. Reyes took a break from his hurdles shuttle relay responsibilities to finish 18th in Friday’s 400-meter hurdles.
